Burnt Tree Primary School wanted to provide pupils with an inspiring educational visit to London that would bring classroom learning to life and create lasting memories. However, with school budgets under increasing pressure, the rising cost of accommodation can significantly limit the experiences schools are able to offer.

The school was determined to give its pupils the opportunity to see and experience the capital, but needed support to make the most of the visit.

Thanks to the savings made through Room for Opportunity, pupils were able to enjoy a wide range of memorable experiences, including:

A River Thames cruise
A sightseeing tour of London
Visits to museums and cultural attractions
Dining together in a restaurant
Exploring some of London's most iconic landmarks

The hostel's central location made it easy to access attractions across the city and ensured the group could make the most of every minute of their stay.

The trip gave pupils the opportunity to experience London in a way that broadened their horizons and deepened their understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
